Every now and then I review what I'm doing and ask the Lord to help me to order my priorities and realign my life to reflect what's most important NOW.

When you set priorities, it's a lot easier to make decisions. Decide what your priorities are and make sure you honour them.

Today's Coaching Moment - The Missing Key

Have you ever wondered why there are so many Christians who seem just as unhappy and unfulfilled as people who don't have a relationship with God?

If God doesn't have favourites, if He loves everyone the same, why do some Christians seem to be more blessed than others?

Why are so many Christians in debt, divorced, overweight, depressed, unfulfilled, and clueless about what they are meant to be doing with their life?

When it comes to God's love, you don't have to do anything to earn it, all you need to do is believe and receive, God gives it to you freely.

Believing is the FIRST step. If you want to experience a radically transformed life you need to add action to your belief and cooperate with the Lord to line your life up with God's ways.

The reason some Christians have a great quality of life and others don't seems to be down to WHAT they believe and whether or not they mix faith with action.

The people who seem to be blessed more than others, the Christians who are fulfilled, tend to be clear about what they believe, and they are always doing practical things that demonstrate their faith. They invite people to their home, give to people in need, take time to listen to people's problems, and help connect people to solutions. They seem always to be giving out to others and yet have their own needs met and more.

Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7)

Notice that the words ask, seek, and knock are all active, practical steps. Jesus didn't say, "Believe and the door will be opened." Or, "Wait for God to open the door."

Sometimes the Lord does tell you to wait, but often He is waiting for you to take steps of faith. Receiving all that God has for you requires taking faith filled steps and being proactive.

Believing, then doing something practical in response, actually putting your belief into action, is the missing key.

Many Christians believe what God says put they don't actually do much about it or take the steps necessary to make it a part of their life. When you consistently apply God's word to your life and line up the way you live your every day life with what God says in His word you will begin to see radical transformation.

It takes intentional effort to discover and fulfil your destiny and become who you are in Christ through God's strength and power and enabling.

And it all begins with believing and receiving all that God has for you.

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer (Matthew 21:22)

So many people believe that if you have faith God will take care of the rest. That is a true statement; but many people wait and expect God to do things for them when He is waiting for them to act in faith.

If you pray and wait, and wait, and wait but your situation doesn't change it might be that the Lord is waiting for you to take proactive steps and work hand in hand with Him.

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps (Proverbs 16:9)

When you step out in faith and take action God guides you through.

Often it's the process of pursuing something that teaches you the lessons you need to grow and mature. God is more than capable of guiding you through your apparent mistakes.
