Today's Coaching Moment - An appointment with destiny?

Today's coaching moment is designed to help you discover what God has in mind when He thinks of you.

God had good works in mind for you before you were born; you were created as a solution to a problem that God knew was going to exist.

You are in history for such a time as this - to influence, dream, design, create, solve, invest, give, build, pray and intercede, to make a difference.

God knew you were going to live in this generation, in this time in history, in the place you were born, to your particular parents, in your particular circumstances. You're part of a much bigger puzzle than you recognize, and you're an important part of it.

There are people YOU are destined to influence and impact. God has got all kind of things in mind for you.

Ephesians 2:10: says,

"You are God's workmanship created in Christ to do good works which God prepared in advance for you to do."

• How will you make a difference?
• Who will you help?
• What problems will you solve?
• What are you going to do with your dream?
• How will you direct your passion?...

Write a book? Start a business or ministry? Open a homeless shelter? Take steps to leave a powerful legacy?

Most people have ideas in their head but seldom actually do anything about them. Often they know what to do, but they don't do what they know.

Living a satisfying life and fulfilling your dreams isn't something that happens automatically, but it doesn't have to be difficult.

It all boils down to making room for your dream, getting clear about where you're headed, making a decision to get started, and taking focused action. After that it's as easy as taking small steps one after the other.

The toughest part, and the thing that holds most people back, is getting clear about your purpose, and taking the first steps. Once you get going you'll find that momentum kicks in. And it becomes much easier once you develop new supportive habits and have strategies for getting past obstacles.

In later editions I'll give you practical tools and strategies that will help you break through fears, frustrations, and hidden beliefs that get in the way.
