If you missed James Goll's seminar: "If God can use a donkey He can use you!" You'll find the replay here: You'll discover how to encounter God in new ways, and learn how to hear Him more clearly, and more often. James Goll made an incredibly generous offer for his upcoming 12 week course, "The Discerner: Receiving and Discerning Revelation". If you think this might be for you, please check before the generous bonuses expire. On Wednesday I will be delivering an online seminar designed for people who are struggling to help people breakthrough. Many Christians with a heart to help people get unstuck, wrongly believe that you need to be an experienced counsellor if you're going to really help people. But nothing could be further from the truth. So if you want to be equipped to help people more effectively and learn how to help people get unstuck, but don't want to spend years training, you'll find the details here How to get people unstuck Instead of Quitting, Try This Whether it's a difficult job or a grueling diet, there are times when we all feel like giving up. Quitting isn't ALWAYS a bad choice. We've been taught to believe that quitting is synonymous with failure, but some activities or relationships aren't good for us, and quitting might be exactly the right thing to do.But it's important to make a conscious decision to quit, or keep on pressing through, rather than making a reactive decision. To avoid giving up prematurely
Decide not to make hasty decisions Deciding to quit isn't a decision to take lightly. Before making the decision to give up on something, consider the consequences, ask the Lord to help you see the end from the beginning. Talk things over with God and listen for His replies. Consult with a trusted friend, consider your track record, and take time to count the cost and make a wise decision. In some instances, quitting is final. Stop creating long-term challenges just so that you can alleviate short-term stress. Give yourself the time you need to make wise decisions. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
