For us, 2016 is shaping up to be an amazing year full of change. 2 of our children are getting married this year, that's TWO weddings to get ready for!!

Katie will be leaving home and starting work as a teacher in July, she already has a job to go to. AND we have another grandchild due. Come September only ONE of our 5 children will be living at home... that's a lot of change!

I know that this is season of new beginnings for many people. That can be a scary thought, but it doesn't have to be.

Abraham set out not even knowing where he was going!

How could he do that? He knew that God had said, and he chose to trust His Father. I encourage you to listen to God's promptings and take a step of faith.

The truth is that God is ALWAYS with you and and He has promised that when you look to Him, He will direct your steps, and be with you every step of the way.

I love this time of year...

For me the new year has always been a time of taking stock and starting afresh. New beginnings... a new journal waiting to be written in... an opportunity to begin again, to start afresh a little wiser. It's a time of hope, renewal and promise.

I believe that Father God is offering us an invitation to start again with fresh hope in our heart knowing that:

• God really is who He says He is
• He is well able to do what He says He can do.
• You ARE who GOD says you are
• You can do everything God says you can do

I encourage you to stop right now and say out loud,

"God is who He says He is, He can do what He says He can do, I am who God says I am, I can do everything God says I can do, and I am going to live as though I believe it is true!"

Say the same things that God says about you. Say them out loud and let what God says change the way you think... as you do that, as you live as though you really do believe what God says, and AGREE with Him, it will begin to transform your life.

"How can two walk together unless they agree?" Amos 3:3

I encourage you to agree with God and say the same things that He says. Start each day by speaking out what God says about you. It will build your faith and encourage your heart.

Let God's Word be the foundation on which you build your life.

Simply choose to believe that He IS who He says He is, believe that you are who He says you are, and live as though you believe it.

Ask the Lord to give you fresh vision, reach out for more, and step out in faith.

May the Son of Righteousness shine upon you. As rain refreshes dry parched land may the Spirit of God wash over you and bring you renewed hope.
